A caterer is only as good as the people it employs. We employ friendly and enthusiastic people who love what they do. People are our primary asset and they are genuinely driven by the change that they bring to our customer’s businesses.
We ensure that all Optima staff have the requisite training for any role they undertake. We encourage our staff to acquire ever higher level skills and qualifications in order to optimise the quality of the service and food we provide. It also gives our team greater pride in their work and job satisfaction.
David has had a successful catering career progressing from a fully qualified chef in many top hotels, to senior management in the contract catering industry. Over the last 26 years, he has worked for 2 larger contractors and has a wealth of experience in operating quality services for major companies. This includes managing the operational and HR side of the Business.
An ex-semi-professional footballer, David loves sport and spending time walking his dogs. He lives in Bury with his wife and family.
Senior Operations Manager
An experienced professional caterer with a drive to achieve. Dave has a vast knowledge and experience in army catering, retail catering as well as business and Industry.
Previous experience in accountancy has enabled a conscientious approach to manage the company’s finances on a day to day basis which includes the company Payroll. Belle holds AAT qualifications in Accountancy.
